Every engineer at Webry started somewhere — usually with a half-finished project on hosting they could barely afford, trying to learn by building. We want to remove that specific barrier for the next generation of student developers in Bangladesh and beyond.

We're setting up a free hosting program for students who are building real projects: portfolio sites, course projects, hackathon builds, early-stage app ideas. The goal isn't to give away throwaway hosting credits — it's reliable, properly configured hosting on infrastructure we actually run, so a student's first deployed project doesn't fall over the moment more than ten people visit it.

We're still finalizing the exact scope: how many student projects we can support at once, what resource limits apply, and how students verify their student status. We'd rather launch this properly, with clear terms and infrastructure that holds up, than rush out a program we can't sustain.

This sits on the same cloud hosting infrastructure we run for paying clients — not a separate, lower-tier setup. We already operate hosting with 99.9% uptime for 50+ clients, and the student program will run on that same foundation rather than a stripped-down free-tier service.
